We emphasize the importance of nutrients in chronic disease and understand the key role it plays in the microbiome, nervous system and overall healing. Our unique, study supported diet combines thousands of years of human digestive progress with a powerful understanding of the gut biome in health and mental resilience. Because each case we work with is unique, we strive to incorporate root causation, developing a nutrition plan that is specific to the individual.
Most people with chronic illness who can't seem to recover have limbic hypersensitivity stalling their recovery. In the limbic class you will be learning how to retrain your brain and get out of fight or flight and into the parasympathetic/calm state where the body can repair.
There is a daily practice that you will learn as well as tools that you will use all day to rewire your brain. We will teach you how to use your brain to aid in your recovery.
Everything you do throughout your day influences your brain and nervous system. For someone with nervous system dysregulation, it is crucial that you influence your nervous system with clear intention and repetition in order to feel calmer and safer in your body.
In lifestyle class, you will be learning many useful lifestyle exercises, and together we will build out morning and evening routines that address your needs and areas of improvement. Learning the techniques in this class are essential for creating a strong foundation to live a life filled with regularity and peace.
On the accountability calls we will be looking at what is being done weekly, what is being tracked and assess any areas for needs of improvement.
The goal of this class is to provide positive accountability to ensure the daily limbic, lifestyle and nutritional protocols are being practices.
In this class, you will be learning about vagus nerve stimulation. The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the human body and is responsible for controlling many bodily functions. It helps regulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the “rest and digest” response in our body.
This includes regulating heart rate, breathing, digestion, and other autonomic functions. The vagus nerve also plays a role in communicating between the gut and brain, which can affect mental health and emotions.
FRIENDS COMMUNITY CALLS
Going through this journey doesn't have to be isolating, we find for many of our patients that the community becomes not only their number one support network, but it becomes like a second family.
These calls are simply to connect as humans, share and celebrate wins, and get to know one another as you continue on this incredible journey of healing.
